My Paris Street Art Book
now it's yours, too!
Ciao, how are you?
Days might feel shorter in November, but no worries—it’s not the 1st of December just yet!
I’m just popping in early with something special to share: my Paris Street Art Book is officially out, and it’s yours to dive into!
If you’ve been sticking around for a while, you’ll know that I started working on this independent, self-published, fully DIY editorial project more than a year ago. After the initial research phase, a small group of you—the loyal readers of this newsletter—joined me on a field adventure, exploring Paris far and wide. It was me, you, and the talented photographer (and my boyfriend!) Paolo Giannotti, uncovering the city’s urban art one mural at a time.
Back home, I reached out to 13 street artists who live and create in Paris, eager to hear their perspectives on the city—their favorite places, where they hang out with friends, and how Paris has shaped their art over the years—to offer you an authentic local perspective on the city’s urban art scene.
True to the ethos of “Be Local”, the guiding principle behind my travel and street art blog blocal-travel.com (Est. 2011), this book reflects not only my perspective but also the voices of the Parisian street artists I interviewed. Their contributions infuse the book with authentic local flavor, leading you to both iconic landmarks and hidden gems—offering a richer, non-touristy glimpse into the life of the city.
Besides local tips from the street artists who call Paris home, this book features the best neighborhoods to explore for discovering Paris street art, a historical introduction that delves into what makes the Paris street art scene unique, plus additional recommendations on must-visit street art spots and why they’re worth your time.

This book is not just an art collection—it’s also a travel guide that leads you off the beaten path, offering an authentic way to experience Paris. Each neighborhood featured in the guide showcases unique murals, street art, and graffiti, reflecting the city's evolving artistic identity.
My Paris Street Art Book is finally here, and now it’s yours, too!
Before you order your copy, there's something important you should know: my Paris street art book is actually two books (well, three… now there’s also the ebook format!)
Let me explain.
The content is the same in both versions, spanning 278 pages, but there are two different ways to enjoy it at two different prices. I wanted to make it accessible to more people while also doing justice to the amazing photos taken by Paolo Giannotti.
So, I produced two different formats using two different kinds of paper:
The Art Photography Book uses the highest quality paper available. It's a coffee table book—a large, hardcover art catalog measuring 254mm x 178mm, perfect for art lovers.

The Travel Guide comes in a portable A5 format (210mm x 148mm) with lightweight paper, perfect to carry during your explorations.
This is an affiliate link. It means that if you buy through it, I’ll receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. It helps me keep creating independent content while supporting Le Grand Jeu, a bookshop deeply connected to the graffiti and street art scene, backing small publishers, local artists, and the culture that shapes this community.
Just to be clear: the texts and photos are exactly the same in both versions. The only differences are the size and the paper quality, which affects the photo colors a bit. I wanted to create two versions for different needs, and at two different price points.

Update March 2025:
Big news! The e-book format is now available! 🥳
Since the print-on-demand option comes with long shipping times—and some of you were disappointed that you wouldn’t get the book in time for your trip—I’ve created an e-book version. It’s available for immediate download after purchase.
Ready to Dive In? Here’s How to Get It.
There are three ways you can purchase my Paris Street Art Book:

Bought this gem last week and am working my way through it. I've been fascinated with street art for quite some time, but mostly just from the "photographing it" side of things rather than knowing any background of the pieces or the artists. This book addresses that in spades for art in the Paris regions... it's just a pity that I wasn't aware of it before a recent trip there in Dec/Jan, but having it to spend time with after the fact is wonderful too. 🙂♥️
So exciting! I've been reading your blog for years and now I'm going to Paris and have the chance to sort of take you along! Or, I guess, you'll be taking me :-) So cool.
I have a question: is the ebook available in any format other than Kindle? I have a different eReader (Nook) or could look at it on a tablet or computer.
Also, please forgive me if I'm missing it, but I don't see how to actually buy the paperback on the buy-direct link you shared for US readers. It just looks like a description of the book?
Yep, I'm interested in both formats :-) And I'll get it from my neighborhood bookstore if you're not offering it directly anymore, but I figure it's best to buy directly from creators when I can!
