Two days ago I finished to read Las venas abiertas de América Latina by Eduardo Galeano and today I found out about Eneri and pixação. 50 years later delivering the same message but with different media. A surprising coincidence for me.
It is indeed a message that we -Western countries- find it difficult to grasp. A debate about post-colonialism art (and post-colonialism graffiti) has been going for some years now, but until it stays within the academic bubble I'm afraid no real changes will happen (in the society)
Hey I’m new here, I live in France, and I’m GUTTED that I won’t be available during the Paris tours! I’ve become increasingly fascinated with graffiti and street art since moving to Grenoble and am gradually trying to learn more about it. Have you ever written about or been to Grenoble?
Ciao Anne! I've been many times in France, but just in Paris (I have family there). Grenoble is on my bucket list since many years, I see the festival is in July, so perhaps next summer *fingers crossed* I saw they produced many murals over the years, I want to visit one day :)
Liebe Giulia, alles sehr interessant, wie immer. Danke. Zuleika
Danke ;)

Yes, I went on a small tour during this year’s July festival but there’s a lot more to discover!
Looking forward to it! :) I'll let you know when I'm coming :)
Awesome!
